Founded in 1991. Still Opening Doors.
Aim High was founded by John Burroughs School faculty members Ellen Moceri and Richard Sandler. What started with 50 fifth graders has grown into a program serving approximately 400 Achievers annually from over 60 schools across St. Louis — entirely tuition-free.

What We Do
A tuition-free, four-year commitment through intensive summer programming and year-round Saturday sessions. Free transportation, meals, and materials for every Achiever.

Summer Intensive
Five weeks of rigorous academics in math, science, English, and history — plus electives from robotics to ceramics. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM.

Saturday Sessions
Monthly enrichment from September through April. Themed programming includes wellness, service learning, Black history, and civic engagement.

Electives & Experiences
Robotics, coding, drama, dance, ceramics, creative writing — Achievers choose hands-on exploration that sparks curiosity and builds confidence.
